About Dubai Lime
Dubai Lime is Dubai's first online community website, www.dubailime.com which was created to provide the city's multi-national community, a forum for cultural development and exchange. Dubai Lime registrants and users are able to experience online and offline interaction with other member through real life community events such as music, art and cultural events that are held on regular basis for Limers. Offering more than just an entertainment portal, Dubai Lime is a comprehensive tool for residents and tourists alike. Rich with Dubai based videos, audio and textual content this newly launched portal is attracting up to 1000 unique visitors a day and has recorded over 100,000 hits since its launch. Dubai Lime online community registrations have skyrocketed to over 550 registered users in the first two weeks of operation. Dubai Lime subscribers are exposed to various benefits including enhanced functionality, invitation to parties, social and cultural events plus access to online competitions.

Bringing underground original music to limelight Dubai Limes main focus is to develop a forum for Dubai's music composers and lovers to meet and share their love of music. Dubai Lime continues to organise open mic sessions that bring artists from different cultural backgrounds to take stage at the city's famous Central Perk and Bert's cafes. Playing to a hungry audience, each session invites 5 to 6 of Dubai Lime's registered artists to showcase their musical talents. Frequently, Dubai Lime musicians hold exchange forums and share ideas on new compositions, music development and explore possibility of developing potential music bands. While original music is what the city craves for, Dubai Lime has also developed an opportunity for local based artists to exhibit their work through an organised art exhibition. In partnership with Central Perk cafe, this free of charge road show is held weekly and exhibits arts from Dubai's artists as well as promotes arts from the city's charity organisations such as Dubai Autism Centre and the Dubai Centre for Special Needs. Dubai Lime's commitment to the community is evident as they pursue to develop community spirit and cultural understanding by raising awareness of Dubai's spectrum of talents through the featured artists and charity organisations.
